About the Author

Daniel Shafer is a full-stack web developer for ReLISTO, a real estate services start-up in San Francisco. He recently graduated from Gordon College with a dual B.A. degree in economics and finance.  During his time at Gordon, he started a used clothing store, led and participated in several small groups, and completed a handful of internships in the non-profit and for-profit sectors doing everything from asset management to mutual fund software development and private equity.

Daniel enjoys economic research and investment analysis. Outside of academics, he has earned a black belt in karate and his hobbies include cooking, swimming, photography, reading, and making Steampunk crafts. He also enjoys traveling, having studied abroad in China, lived in South Korea, and visited 19 other countries.
